Do you have back pain? Are you limiting your activity as a result of this pain? Our backs take so much of our effort throughout the day. Many of us suffer from pain in this area of the body from using our backs without movement awareness. This 8-week Feldenkrais® series will develop a new way of experiencing your back. You will learn how your pelvis, ribs, shoulder, neck and head all relate to each other so that a new back will emerge – one that is stronger more flexible and can move in softer more capable ways. Each lesson is slow and simple – no forcing or demanding your back to conform. We work with the magic of awareness by paying attention to our bodies and considering the possibilities of how they can move differently. The Feldenkrais® Method of Somatic Education is for people who want to reconnect with themselves in order to find greater range of motion and reduce discomfort in their bodies.

This eight-week series is designed to help you find a way to sit at a computer and feel good at the end of the day. We are looking to find ways to reduce the effort in the forearms and wrists as well as creating better posture for sitting comfortably. if you have already been diagnosed or are beginning to feel the affects of this type of pain these 8 classes can help you on your journey to a pain free work day.
If you have been diagnosed with Carpel Tunnel Syndrome or Thoracic Outlet Syndrome these classes can help you to find a new way of easing your discomfort.

Starting on Tuesday September 16th I'll be teaching Awareness Through Movement® classes in a new space on Beacon Hill. I'm really excited to connect with a new community and the space is really beautiful. If you are in the neighborhood come by for some morning movement.
Classes start Tuesday the 16th. Will go every Tuesday and Thursday from there on. It will be a drop-in class.
